At the end of my Buckeye video I shared with you this past Monday, I thanked a certain family for making that day possible for us. I know that family through the wonderful world of blogging.
Thanks to the internet I have met many families and we have gotten to know each other through our blogs. Even though many of us have never met in person we feel we know each other very well. These other mom's are my network of friends that I prayed and longed for after our world was turned upside down when we received Cayman's diagnosis.
Joyce is the mom to a girl named Sarah, who has a blog that I follow. They are the family we received the Buckeye tickets from. Joyce wrote a beautiful post regarding us and their enjoyment of sharing the gifts they have received. Circle of Life, she calls it.
Reading her words about how we have touched her, coming from someone that has touched us...well it was touching.
Circle of Life.
There is no other way to put it.
When you can find someone that truly understands and knows what you're feeling, it's surreal.
And Joyce captured in words what we were feeling on Saturday when Mike carried his little girl into that Buckeye stadium.

It was a BEAUTIFUL post!!!
WOW...what a GREAT Circle of Life that was found between the two of you.
Diane, Tyler's mom
Wow, what a sweet, sweet story! You truly are a wonderful friend to many of us, Kristen. I agree with Joyce's words wholeheartedly! You truly have wisdom beyond your years!
I love that, The Circle of Life is the perfect way to put it! I might have to use that and of course give Joyce all the credit! It is just too beautiful and true not to share!
I read what Joyce wrote the other day. Very sweet. That's one family I would really like to meet in person one day. Sarah is such an inspiration. And what a wonderful family to send you guys tickets for the game. Not many people, in today's world would do something so nice.
I'm missing seeing pictures of Cayman today. I look forward to reading up on her each day and of course checking out all those great pictures of your sweet little girl.
Isn't this what life is all about..sharing what we have and bringing joy to someone else?? It is amazing the people we have met on our 'journey', and I can see that you also have come in contact with many who you otherwise would not have had the honor of 'meeting' without your 'journey' with Cayman!
It is so awe inspiring to see the way you and others have connected and shared and learned and helped each other. So often we get lost in the bad stuff that we can start to believe that is all there is. I'm so glad that there are people like you and Joyce and so many others who work to not only better yourselves and your families but also to show the world what it can truly be. Thank you for sharing your life!
P. S. This must prove that God is a Buckeyes fan, too, huh? :)
