X-Rays

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Last week Cayman had x-rays taken of her spine and hips. This was to check for any vertebral malformations that could possibly be hindering her ability to sit unsupported. To review that full story click here.

Mike models the smiley face lead apron with great masculinity.

We are happy to report, everything looks great!

So the mystery continues "why is Cayman so uncomfortable."

I have been trying therapeutic massage treatments on her back, hips, and legs to loosen any tight muscles and also make her more aware of that area of her body. In addition to that, I am exploring the chiropractic modality to see if that will make a difference for Cayman. I will let you know how that goes.

I leave you with this video of how Cayman stays entertained at the Doctor's office...

babies are content just to explore their world. Love Cayman enjoying paper! Glad to hear all is well with the xrays. She is making so much progress!

I am glad her spine and everything else is okay!

Kadyn does the same thing to the paper....Kadyn likes to rip it also, and he just wiggles all over it.

She looks like she is having a blast!!

Glad to hear all is okay with her xrays. Chiropractic care is something we've used for Matthew in the past and something we need to do again for his torticollis.

Love that she loves the paper in the office...that's very cute!

Glad to hear everything looks good with her spine.

Cayman reminds me of Carly as a baby. She loved to kick the daylights out of the paper in the doctor office. Actually, she still loves that noise!

Glad to hear that they didn't find anything wrong on the x-ray. It may just be her head size that is the issue. I mean imagine attaching a big weight to your head and then trying to sit up. Her head isn't as big as Owen's, but he certainly didn't like trying to sit up for the longest time, and he's fine with it now. She's miles ahead of where Owen was at the age, so she's doing great!

Soooo funny! We never get out of the doctors without having to pull the paper at least 2 times! It's insane! She is so darn cute though! Im glad her X-rays came back good and Mike you rock the lead apron! lol!

What a relief it is not her bones! We saw a chiropractor before Miles was able to sit. Not sure if it helped or not, but definitely worth a try. Miles does the same exact thing to entertain himself at the Dr. :)
