Rocking on her hands and knees is a move that Cayman's physical therapist showed her many months back. It teaches Cayman how to shift her weight between her hands and knees, balancing and supporting herself in a crawling stance, which is an important step for Cayman to learn in the ability to crawl.
We have continued to do this exercise with her at home but usually with lots of resistance from Cayman's end of it. Until recently when she propped herself up on her hands and knees all by herself and began to rock with no help.
It's got me thinking, perhaps Cayman will crawl someday instead of just rolling everywhere.
She is a pretty cute roller though.

Great job Cayman! I know that in a short matter of time you'll be crawling all over the place.
Rock on, Cayman!
WoW! So inspiring! I can't wait to see my little guy do this! Way to go, Cayman!
It sounds like she's singing too!
Yay Cayman!!!!!!!
So Cute! Great work Cayman!
Way to go Cayman! Owen still hasn't learned this move. I affectionately call what Owen does "carpet swimming" because it looks like he's doing the breast stroke across the floor. It looks like your Cayman is catching on much more quickly, woo hoo!!
So adorable!! Cayman's rocking and rolling!!
She'll be on the go in no time at all!
