Crocs

Cayman received a pair of crocs for her birthday from her Great Aunt Dood.Did you know that there is a Croc style called "Cayman"? Naturally, we are a big fan of those!! The Christmas I was pregnant with Cayman, we bought everyone in our family "Cayman" Crocs.

***The best prices I have found on Crocs is at shoebuy.com. If you sign up for their e-newsletters, during holidays they send you an email offering 20% off on your full purchase. Plus it's free shipping and free returns. For Easter, they are offering the 20% off promotion. In most stores, adults crocs are $30. On shoebuy.com with the 20% you can get them for less than $24, with no extra shipping costs.

***Helmet update: We've been dragging our feet on making an absolute decision regarding Cayman's helmet. We haven't put the helmet on much at all, which, I guess, is kind of like making a decision. The pictures above were taken about a week ago, before we took her helmet off. I foresee the helmet being history!

Cute pictures!! I can't believe those crocs stay on her feet! And I can't imagine how hard it is to make that helmet decision. I think she's happier without it; and if she's sitting up more without it, that is great progress!

Jill,
The crocs do fall off pretty easy, especially when she's grabbing them like that. I kept putting them back on so I could keep taking pictures.

Actually, Dood is Mike's Great Aunt, so that makes her Cayman's Great, Great Aunt. (Sorry Dood, I hope that doesn't make you feel too old!)

Oh!!! I love the pink fuzzy Crocs!
If you decided to stick with the helmet...the crocs sure do match pretty! :)

Branson loves his too. The other day I went to put his tennis shoes on and he would have nothing to do with them...only Crocs would do.

I just want you to know that the other day I was thinking about the very few blogs I follow of strangers (yours is one of the few) and I laughed because you don't feel like strangers at all. I feel I know Cayman and I forget that I havn't meet your sweet family in person. I really do think this blogging thing is a blessing and has treated me to new friends. :)

I love the crocs. Tyler would never be able to wear them though. His feet are soooo narrow. cute pictures!!

Love the Crocs! As for the helmet, I feel you are making the right decision--you don't want it to hold her development back. Is there any benefit in wearing the helmet just while she is sleeping? Just a thought! Cayman is just precious!

I bet that crocs are a great shoe for babies because they are so lightweight.

If and when we decide to start putting shoes on Lizzy I think I'll go with Crocs. My older two sure love them!

Debbie,

Thanks for your comment and thinking it is the right decision. That is comforting for me to hear from you.

I will discuss the option of wearing it only at night with her Orthotic Clinician.
