He Got The Job!!

They offered Mike the job!!

"Thank You God!"

*sigh* Now it's time to think about moving.

Cayman and I got up early this morning and traveled with Mike to his interview. We didn't of course actually go into his interview with him. We dropped Daddy off then Cayman and I went shopping.

After Mike's final interview we scoped out the area with a realtor to find a place to live. We found an apartment. The next step is working out a deal with our current landlord. We pray that goes smooth. Then we sign our new lease, put everything in boxes, rent a moving truck, load it, unload it, unpack, and get settled in...and try to not move for a very very VERY long time!!! :o)

Thank you all for the wonderful, faithful prayers!!

So happy for you all!!!! ..., and guess what? You will live only 10 minutes from "the other Shannon", so we will have to get together to knit and I would love to meet Cayman.
Congrats and God Bless,
Shannon

I am happy to hear that Mike got the job but hate that you have to go through all the stress of moving. But God has a plan for you and this is just the next step and he wouldn't do anything that you wouldn't be able to handle. And from the little bit that I know you, you are a strong person and will make the best of this next step in your life.

This is Joyce. Congratulations for all of you!!! I hope the details work out smoothly. This job isn't in Ann Arbor is it?:) When does Mike start? Will the Christmas tree have to come down before the move? I know how much you like your holiday tree. Best of luck in this new chapter of your lives.

Congratulations Mike!

Kristen,
Praying for you as you talk to your landlord and pack boxes. Praying your move is slow and hopefully AFTER christmas! Does that change Cayman's birth to 3 (early intervention)program too? Do you have to move over state line? Oh, lots of things to think about. Praying for a stress-free as possible move

YAY!! I'll be praying for your move and a smooth ordeal with your current landlord. Moving is always stressful, especially back-to-back like you're having to do. Hopefully your new place will be SO fun to decorate and organize/set up that it won't be too overwhelming.

What great news!!! Congratulations, Mike! Moving is no fun, but I'm sure you'll find a way to make the best of it. Looks like we will be moving in a couple of months as well. Joe and I both work in another city, so it is silly for us to live in Lincoln. It's just so hard to leave your church family and friends and everything that is familiar...sigh.

Joyce ~ No we are not moving to Ann Arbor. We don't have to move out of state. We don't know the exact day Mike starts his job but it will be sometime before Christmas. Most likely the tree will be coming down and we will be moving before then.
