Today's Picture Story....
It's been so hot...but it's been great! Cayman has mostly laid around in just her diaper and she loves it! The tricky part has been trying to figure out how to keep her from grabbing at her G-tube.
Here she is airing out her sweaty armpits.
It was a nice warm, calm summer evening (ok, so I know it's technically not summer yet, but it's close). We took Cayman for a walk. When we went to her Neurosurgeon appointment on Tuesday we noticed Cayman staring out the window of the van watching everything go by. She's never done that before. We thought a walk with her would be great so she could see everything in a slower pace. But she didn't really spend much time looking around. Maybe she prefers the faster pace of life. Ha, I guess so far that's all she has ever known...the go-go-go. Perhaps that's why.
Mommy and Daddy have found their social lives again. Our friends Nick and Val were over the other evening. It was fun to spend some time with them. They are expecting their first baby right now! How exciting! I didn't get any pictures of us all together, but here is what we did that evening. :o)
Our other friends, Nate and Amy, came by to meet Cayman. It's been a whole year since we've seen them!!! That's so hard to believe! I use to see them everyday. Nate and I went to high school together, and Amy and I attended the same church. Life sure is changing all the time!
Speaking of changes...we heard from our realtor. There's a strong possibility that we are closing on our house this coming Tuesday!! We verbally accepted a lease on an apartment. Next week at this time we could be moved into our new place! Wow, my mind does not know how to wrap around how quickly all this is going to take place. Thank God Cayman does not have any appointments next. We pray that no surprises come up so our schedule stays clear as we figure out how to move all our stuff from two locations into one location. To my local blog readers...we are in need of a washing machine. Do you know of one in good working condition that is for sale affordable to a tight budget?
And here's a couple pictures that are too cute for me to keep to myself.
Daddy and Cayman playing with Mommy's new labtop. It came just in time as my desktop is on it's way out. I may turn into a blogging maniac now...more than I have already...now that my computer and I are mobile! :o) My favorite part about my new computer is that it's green and it works!
Lots of smiles for Grandma Sue!

She is so fun! I love the photo of her airing out her pits!!! Hilarious :)
She is getting SO big!! She looks long! Very very cute...as usual.
It sure seems like little Cayman is defying the odds already! I bet she will keep doing it. She is a little miracle for God to begin with and now he is performing miracles in her and your lives constantly. I love it! I wish I was closer to Archbold and could come meet this preciousittle girl.
Hope

If I were closer you know I would be there to help. I can't wait to see Cayman!! A little over a month!! She is so cute!! I love you guys let me know if there is anything we can do from this far away! :O)
Kristen,
I can't believe how big she's getting!! She looks so cute in those pictures! Glad to hear that your house selling going well and that you've found an apartment. As nice as it is to have family, sometimes it's nice to have you're own space. Too bad we don't live closer; my husband is good at helping move!
I love this post!
I love that Cayman is enjoying the world around her. How true that she has known nothing but go-go-go. It must have been so fun to take her out on a quiet, simple, walk on a warm, summer evening.
Speaking about warm summer evenings...they are not happening here! I am about to give up on summer coming. It is so cold and stormy, and windy! I am craving warmth :)
I am also glad that you and Mike are getting to do some things for yourself....like playing nintendo with friends. We love playing nintendo!
I also have to say that I adore your new computer!!!!!! Green is my absolute, favorite color!!!
Congrats on selling your house. And goodluck with the new apartment. I am sure that it will feel so good to have your own space with your own sweet little family. But I also know what a blessing it has been to have your in-laws support and help throughout the past few months as you have lived with them.
Have a happy weekend!
She looks like a little angel with the white pillow ("wings") behind her in the top picture!!! Mom & I think that's so adorable!! She is a little angel anyway, but she was showing us her wings in that pic! :) xoxo!
p.s. mom wanted to let you know that there's a "Wish Box" at church that you can fill out a slip saying you need a washer and put the slip in the "angel wish/needs" box at church. Mom thinks the box is in the front foyer (call the office w/questions or ask Pastor Dave about it). Other people will also put in the same box items they want to give away. Pastor Dave matches the "wishes/needs" with the Items to be given away by other people. It's a good ministry tool. Hopefully, this will be helpful. Also put in any other needs you have--who knows, someone may have what you're looking for! :)
Cayman is so cute!! I love the picture of her with Mike, sitting on the couch together. and the one with her and my mom. soooo cute!! see you tomorrow!! oh, and btw. you can't move out yet....cuz i'm moving home and i want to spend some quality time with Cayman! haha. love you! :):)

Hi! I found your blog through Sherri's blog. I recognize Cayman from Michelle's website. My son Elijah is on there as well. :c) Cayman is so adorable!
Hi Kristen, Thanks for your comment. Lisa gives me lots of info and up-dates on Caymen. Plus I check out your blog quite often. I don't know why I haven't commented until now. I'm not usually shy. I love all the pictures especially the one of Caymen smiling for Grandma. I can relate. I remember the first time Elisabeth smiled just for me.
