Twice now my blog has received a spam comment. So hopefully to prevent this from happening again I enabled the word verification step. I wish I could keep it simplified and eliminate this step. I even tried after the first comment was received. But when the second one came in (from viagra, none the less), I decided the word verification step must be done.
Please, please don't let that stop you from commenting. Cayman and I love your comments! It's like having tiny, little conversations through out our day.

I got a viagra one last week too...What I don't understand is what they hope to benefit from spamming? Doesn't everyone hate spam? Do they really think that someone will see a spam comment on their blog and say "Hmm, viagra, that sounds great! Thanks for spamming me!"?

Ha! I got one too. They put it on a post I did back in the summertime. Weird.
Oh, I'm Lisa's sister in law and Elisabeth's aunt. I saw you on her sidebar and thought I'd see what the word verification was for.
We should all write back to Viagra and tell them we have been using it for months but don't like their spamming, so now we are no longer going to refill our prescriptions. (You do need a prescription for it, don't you? I'm not that up on viagra...no pun intended!)

I have had the same problem too, do you think word verification will help fix it? If so I will add it to my blogs aswell.

And, the word verification won't stop me from letting you know how wonderful Cayman is :)
I'm still happy to comment, I had to add the verification to my blogs months ago because of the spam. No bigeee...

well...I have had to do the same thing MANY times....they will get the hint and stop...then you can take it off and put it back on...fun little games with play with the spammers!
I might should do it for the nasty comments someone put on my photography blog.ha!
