Cayman's shunt revision last week put a different curve on my posting events for that Easter weekend.
We sadly could not join the Stamm's for their family festivities on Easter Sunday, but we were able to enjoy most of the day on Saturday with my family.
Here are some pictures from that day.

don't take this the wrong way, but it is imperative that the handle of infant car seats is locked back when in the vehicle. I took a car seat safety class at a fire station and that was something they couldn't stress enough. There have been many decapitations due to those bars not being locked back.
Kristin,
Thanks for the tip. Normally we do put it back. We must have forgotten this time.
We took a car seat safety class also and the same rule was stressed, but I had to confess, I still don't understand why. Our instructor told us it was because if you get in a crash, something could fall on the handle bar and break it, severely injuring your child. That made no sense to me, because if something is coming at that handle with that much force, isn't that object alone going to crush the child? If anything, I would think the handle, if it can withstand the blow, would work as a guard from objects hitting the child in a crash.
Were you given any other reasons for why the handle should always be placed back?
Oh goodness! I know those sounds! Lorelai has been miserable the past few days! Still recovering from the road trip. She and Madison would be quite the pair!
Love your socks by the way :)
I am glad that even with the craziness of the week you got to spend Easter with family.
I love that you took the time to snap some photos while you were traveling!
