Frozen In Time

Saturday, August 16, 2008

I wish I could freeze time...just for a little while. I love the size that Cayman is right now. She fits perfectly in my arms. She's still small but big enough that I no longer feel like I'm going to break her when I tighten her car seat buckles. I love it when she cries for me to pick her up. As soon as I get her nestled in my arms she stops crying and settles right in. I completely understand what people mean when they say "I miss my kids being this age." I know when Cayman is older I will miss her being this small too. For now I'm going to enjoy every second of it!

Know that feeling - Cayman is SO MUCH like her mother! You always snuggled so close - made it hard to ever put you down! XOXOXOXOXO There's just not much that measures up to snugglin' your precious baby!

Cayman is such a snuggler. I loved holding her and couldn't get enough of it. :O) You have such a beautiful baby girl and I loved meeting her - however it makes me miss her even more! Just means you will all have to come out and visit us! Keegan misses her too - everytime I sit at the computer he has to see Cayman very first before I can do anything else. I played the videos for him that you posted the other day and he got so excited. :O) Give Cayman hugs and kisses from all of us! We love you guys!

Cherish this time when she is so cuddly. My second is a little over a month younger than Cayman and I definitely value cuddle time with him more than I did with his big brother. She is so precious!

I miss kadyn being that small. I wish kadyn cryed to be picked up. I try and hold him and after two minutes it crying to be put down. SOmetimes he lets me hold him for along time. NOw he is feeding himself on his own and doesnt want to be held during that and wants to be so independent. I enjoy and cherish the time he lets me cuddle with him :-)

That picture is amazing! I love the depth! And I am all for slowing down time and keeping the kids a bit longer. =)

Your text question is hard to answer because I'm not sure how much you know about Adobe but lets try two different things:

Is the color of your text the same as your background? To change the color you go to the box next to the capitol T, click on it and pick another color.

If your layers are switched around your text is hiding under another layer. The background layer is like a piece of paper sitting on your table all by itself. When you make another layer it's like laying a second piece of paper on top of the original piece on the table. Say the 2nd layer is text, like the word BABY. So now you have your background layer with a second piece of paper that says BABY on top of that. If you then add a picture of Cayman as your 3rd layer you won't be able to see the text BABY because the photo is hiding it just like it would if you laid a 3rd piece of paper over the 2nd piece on a table. To make your text show, simply click on the layer that says BABY and drag it above the 3rd layer that is the photo. The words should appear as you have now made the text become the top piece of paper.

If neither of these works let me know and we'll try something else!

I saw in the Archbold Buckeye the garage sale benefit for Cayman. That is so neat. Is that just a random person in the community? Or is it family? either way I think it's awesome!!!
