  8. So funny about this post:

3 or 4 years ago Donald and I purchased a big inflateable ball pit filled with a couple hundred of those same balls for the girls. After a year or so they lost interest in it and so we packed it up and put it in our attic space.

When we were out Christmas shopping recently Donald saw those balls at the toy store and remembered alll of ours that have been stashed away for a few years. We talked about getting it out for Elisabeth....but I am not sure she is ready for it yet....she might just sink into them and have no idea what is going on.

Did you just by the balls? Or do you have one of the ball pits too?

Anyways....loved the post. What a great effect that was having the pictures create a little 'action show' for us.

  9. So cool! I was also wondering if you had something to put them in or are just going to let them be loose while she plays with them.

  10. Lisa,

I saw a ball pit in the One Step Ahead catalog and that is where I got the idea of getting Cayman a huge collection of balls like this. I would have loved to get the pit to go with the balls but we decided it was too much to spend right now. We thought maybe getting a kiddie pool and putting the balls in it, plus the pool would have the duel purpose for swimming too. So that's the plan. For now, Cayman plays with the balls loosely.

  13. Hey, so ur post about the expense of the high dollar ball pits. Toys r us has ball pit tents on the webpage for about $40.00. That's an idea!!! Although, I'd love one of the lady bug mat-like ones for Ashalyn!!! But won't pay $300 right now either!!!
